I was in an automobile accident while driving my work truck between jobsites. Can I make a claim for Workers’ Compensation benefits, and do I have any other rights?

If you were working while driving your vehicle, you may have three claims: (1) a Workers’ Compensation claim that provides medical benefits and disability payments, (2) a lawsuit for lost wages, medical expenses, and pain-and-suffering against the other driver, and (3) if the other driver was underinsured, as sadly, many people do not have insurance policies sufficient to compensate all of your losses, a claim can be made under the underinsured policy provision covering your truck. Because of the complexity of this situation, contacting an attorney who understands each of these areas of law would be advisable.
